Tsereteli is often asked which new grandiose concept he is implementing. In response he usually shrugs his shoulders and says, that large monuments result from many small sculptures. Tsereteli’s creative mentality furthers ahead expanding the boundaries of themes represented in his generalized, tending to abstract easel sculptures. Even when he depicts eternal classical topics the master’s creative work is consonant to the present. In all its manifestation from small sculptures to the “sculptural environment” created in large scale interiors, it is filled with high spirituality and violent passions of modern life, is penetrated by the sensation of joy, inexhaustible optimism, affirmation of sensitive, bright and colorful, saturated to the highest degree existence considered as the best gift of life.
