|24.01.12: Press-service| // On January 24, 2012 the President of the Russian Academy of Arts Zurab Tsereteli and members of the Presidium of the Russian Academy of Arts visited V. Surikov Moscow State Academy Art Institute. The Rector of V. Surikov Art Institute Anatoly Lyubavin and heads of its workshops showed the results of their students’ work in the first semester of 2011-2012 academic year. The joint discussion of the students’ works was aimed at the improvement of teaching programs.

These are canvases, graphic works, sculptural compositions, bronze reliefs and enamels produced by the artist for the last two decades.
|25.11.11: Press-service| // On November 24, 2011 the Moscow Museum of Modern Art, 25 Petrovka street presented a new selection from its collection of modern art entitled ArtisArtisArt, that refers to the “Two Hours in an Empty Tank” poem by Joseph Brodsky (1965). The President of the Russian Academy of Arts Zurab Tsereteli took part in the opening of the show. The new display follows the international museum practice of representing the museum’s collection in the form of annual changing exhibitions.

|17.11.11: Press-service| // On November 17, 2011 the President of the Russian Academy of Arts Zurab Tsereteli took part in the opening of the exhibition “Mickhail Lomonosov and His Time” in the exhibition hall of the Federal Archives, 17 Bolshaya Pirogovskaya street, Moscow. The exposition includes several works by Zurab Tsereteli, among them - the artist’s portrait of Mickhail Lomonosov.

The award ceremony at the presence of Their Eminences the Cardinals Diego Castrillon Hoyos and Antonio Canizares Llovera, ecclesiastical, civil and military authorities took place in the Vatican City, in the Great Hall of the Pontifical Urbaniana University on November 12th, 2011.

On show are 60 works by artists from almost all the regions of Russia and 15 other countries. The exhibition is being held under the auspices of the Russian Academy of Arts.
